Winter Olympics – WORST CRASH EVER

Dramatic crashes, spectacular spills and high-profile injuries – if anything, a week and a half of action in Pyeongchang has proved Winter Olympic events carry with them a fairly high degree of risk.

He desperately kicked his legs in midair to try to reset himself but could not get upright.

Del Bosco then landed on his right hip before skidding several metres and coming to a stop as his rivals went on to finish the run.

A Canadian official initially said he had suffered a broken pelvis but then revealed more Medical Imaging tests were needed to determine the full extent of the injury.

Happy Chinese New Year!

Today, Friday the 16th of February marks the beginning of the Chinese New Year celebrations around the world for 2018.

In Chinese astrology, each year is related to a Chinese zodiac animal according to the 12-year cycle. 2018 is an Earth Dog Year, the eleventh sign in the Chinese zodiac.

Years of the Dog include 1934, 1946, 1958, 1970, 1982, 1994, 2006, 2018, and 2030…

If you’re born in a Dog year, the following are deemed lucky for you:

  • Lucky numbers: 3, 4, 9

  • Lucky flowers: rose, cymbidium orchids

Whether born under the zodiac year or not, we expect people all over the world to participate in celebrations, by letting off firecrackers, ringing bells, watching traditional lion dances and gathering with both family and friends.
