It’s official! Spring fever is well and truly underway.
The days are warmer, longer and there is a certain buzz in the air. In go the bulky sweaters and out come the bold colours and floral prints. The spring season, however also comes with the rise of the common allergic reactions such as hay fever, rhinitis and congestion. Many of us suffer such symptoms, with 1 in 5 Australians experiencing rhinitis every year, especially those aged between 15 – 64 years.
Signs and symptoms to look out for include:
- Runny nose & nasal congestion
- Watery, itchy and red eyes
- Itchy ears and throat
- Sneezing
- Cough
- Fatigue
- Headaches
- General feeling of being unwell
